Leaving Grande Prairie Alberta tomorrow.

               Early morning here 

Always a time when we leave, and tomorrow is that time. We've had a good visit with many here, enjoying all our family and friends here. Was different for me this time, as usually I have a project or two, something that I can get into, but this time it just didn't materialize. Still was nice to connect again with everyone here, even if was a short visit. 

We have gotten used to Grande Prairie, kinda know where to go, how to get there, and where everyone lives. Where we like to shop, I learned about Value village this time, was an interesting store to see inside, very well operated, organized. Well except the checkout, supposed to be self checkout, but have 1 person watching over two self checkout tills! Seemed kinda inefficient to me, as there were 6 tills, only 2 being used. 

No frills was our favorite, good price, and a person at each till, no big lineups, also closest to us. We did go to other places while here, but this was the best for us. 

Said our goodbyes yesterday to most all, will have a nice dinner with Jack and Wendy tonight, then early tomorrow morning we leave for Prince George, be a nice drive, always like this drive. A night there, booked the hotel already. Dinner and casino Polly is looking forward to, is our usual on the way home. 

Next day to Lilloett, a night there then next day to Horseshoe Bay ferry. We did this same trip last year, but leaving Lilloett was a rush to get to the ferry, this time I booked a little later in the day. 

Yep all ready to go now, feeling nice to be getting back home, garden has grown I'm sure, and projects that we have planned I can get to again. I'm still a little surprised at how we fell into our grounded life again, after 10 years on the road. We're very happy with it, but just a little bit surprised at how quickly it all happened. 

Had a good rain here yesterday, lightning and thunder too, talking with friends in Port Alberni they also had some welcome rain. Yep happy to travel again ❤️
