Saturday with a friend and a thought.

Went to breakfast with a friend this morning, just been thinking of him, so called. I've learned that if ya want to see someone that's the best way to do it. Also if a person keeps jumping into your thoughts, is time to give a call. 

Breakfast was good, filled me up, and met another couple friends when we sat there enjoying our omelet. I didn't think of till now, but we three of us were all Big Brothers at one time, hmm isn't that cool. I never really thought of that before, but was a good visit with them, and another that I met there. 

QF has a good breakfast 🍳 fo a good price, with the self ordering, then they serve to you at your table. Was great 👍🏻 

Talk was easy as always with a good friend, and past present and future all talked about, as I expected, great conversation. Sure is nice living where ya know friends from years before, just a message and yep, breakfast, ok see ya there at 9. Meeting others a bonus!

Once I got home a plan to go to Courtenay is happening, so call our friends there, make a plan to visit, been awhile, and luckily they have time, and will work, so off we'll go now, more connections. 

I just listened one more time to Bob Dylan "Blowin in the Wind" again, really gets me, the word's are as striking today as when he wrote it so many years ago. I'm not a big fan of his squeaky voice, but the message is so darn good I listen beyond the voice. I caught myself tapping my feet to it, such a good ballad. 

We often talk of "our music" as being the best, I believe each generation has "their music" I just believe ours is and has been the best! 

I also took time to really enjoy the peace of the community garden this morning early, birds flying around, in and out of their house 🏡, and humming birds zooming by, and feeding on all the flowers. Yep, another great day ❤️

Polly is ready now, I hear her brushing her teeth, time to get going.
