On our way west towards our cruise ship.

Sunny start today, be another adventurous day 

This morning Polly & I are on our way towards Long Beach California on a bus with about 60 others all headed towards our cruise ship, Norwegian Bliss it's called. We have not ever gone on a cruise, yet many we know have many times. We have been looking forward to this for over a year now. 

Our friends Don & Constance invited us last year, was not a tough decision, price was good, and they are so fun to be with, along with other friends, Len & Kathy, Jim & Tammy, Carl & Gwen. I'm sure we'll meet many more people on this cruise. Always nice to be invited, always fun to be with them. 

The beginning of the trip on the bus full of yak, I just noticed now quite has started, about 45min into the bus ride. I'd forgotten what it's like to be on a bus floating down the highway, able to look around, not driving myself. Beautiful feeling, as I'm almost always driving, no complaints I like to drive, but this is really nice. 

I was concerned about being on a cruise ship, but I'm thinking it'll be the same, not a worry, I'm not driving 😂 although I'd like to see the ships engine's, along with a trip to the bridge, that'd be a thrill.

Before I started punching this phone I realized Polly looking at her phone, was seeing the entertainment stuff sent to her feed, me I'm seeing sports, politics, and so much different stuff. We see things differently, we look at things different, but we are together on the same path, sharing our lives. Lucky us Hey 👍 

We made a turn off the highway, heading north now, El Centro is our stop for br break and possibly a coffee ☕ ☕ each. 

Sun's just about to come up now, everyone has now settled in, quiet is happening so nicely now. Some sleep, some on their phone, some reading, but nobody really talking. Sun's up now, happens so fast, the bus starts turning now as we head west, Polly asking "clocks change now?" Yep I say, 7:04 now. 

I'm not sure exactly the route we'll take, but I've been on this road before, as we've traveled here to Indio, great memories from those times. 

Were floating past the farms, and those that'll be putting in another day in the Fields, just trying to get ahead. Sunday is just another day to many people, work used to stop on Sundays, but now in our society, there's really no rest days. 

I'm feeling just a little tired now, we were up at 5am, but that's nothing, I'm usually up then, still no coffee ☕ yet 😀
