It took a long time to get it properly diagnosed, but done and done now feels good.
First time I went to get it after the new injectors were installed, I drove home and fuel all over the running board when I stepped out. A call to the mechanic , and back I went. I was a little disillusioned.π₯ The rear injector leaked the mechanic said had to go back to have it tightened, that was disappointing, but final results count, and after yesterday's trip to see a movie πΏ about an hour away from here, was not a problem. Feel's good having our Rambo back working dependable as always.
I have to thank our neighbor here, Ed Crosby, he gave me a ride there and back 3 times, is about 1/2 hour one way, so that much time out of his day to help me. Polly already has a dinner planned for Friday to thank him. Couldn't have done it without him. Thanks Ed π
Now for the movie π₯ , we went to see "A Complete Unknown" with TimothΓ©e Chalamet is Bob Dylan, an unbelievable performance, that never once had me thinking about anything else but what was next. I asked a few young people, if they enjoyed it after as we left the theater, yes very much they said, even though they didn't know much about Bob Dylan they said. One young girl said, "My Grandma always liked him, so I thought I'd go"
I can't say I followed Bob Dylan, but I always knew he sang about serious stuff, made ya think, and I liked that. Later in life, when I was searching for who wrote a song, and the search came with the answer Bob Dylan, I was kinda shocked, was a song others were singing at the time, a song he wrote that he didn't even care about. That's when I realized just how many songs he has written.
Like all artists I believe, he wasn't perfect, none of us are, but he's created so many songs that have us questioning where we are going, and how we behave as we go through this life.
I recommend seeing this movie in a theater, but if not, watch it at home later.
Oh yeah, the best part was having a date as fun as Polly to go with, was really nice for us to get out on a Sunday, go to town as it were, just get out and feel free again, and joke about with each other, and have fun. Was a really nice Sunday drive, into a town, or suburb called Wellington, fancy looking place, all lit up for Christmas π, palms lit up the stems, and all the way out to the trips of the palm leaves, was really nice looking, I couldn't get a shot, as I drove through, but looked really nice.
Yep was a very good way to spend our Sunday afternoon. On the way home we stopped at Belle Glade for dinner, Popeyes I saw, so let's try it. Well after a 10-15 minute wait I said to Polly, "wanna try another place?" Yup, and off we went, the woman that was serving at Popeyes was alone at the counter, and had much to do with what I think was a very unmotivated group. Not my problem, let's Go!
Off across the street we got served right away at Conel Sanders place, chicken was a little greasy but good tasting, and the service was fantastic, people were laughing, joking, we could hear it as we came in, and all the time as we ate. Was a really nice sound, so I had to tell the girl that served us, how nice it was to hear.
Perfect day I'd say, was a really nice Sunday afternoon.
What more can ya want on a Sunday, a really good truck, a really good movie, a really good dinner, all with the fantastic women ya love. π©❤️ππ¨ Perfect I say.
Love our life ❤️
