Took a walk to the end of the pavement.

             View from the bench

On my way along the road I saw a man and his dog walking, I said Hi, he said Hi back, his dog was wagging her tail, then as we talked she came closer, she was looking for a pet, so I went through the bush to her gave her a pet, then talked more with the guy. We then walked and talked as we walked along the trail beside the road. I don't really remember the trail much, we talked well. At service road I went up and along my way after a final good pet of his dog, and a goodbye to him. I walked down to the end of the pavement, by the mill, turned around and started back. When I got to the main road Tommy came by, he'd been to the mill getting wood for a friend, he stopped and we talked. We worked together years ago, at Sproat. He was a pleasure to talk with, busy as usual, but time for a BS, then off he went to deliver his load, and I walked back to our campsite.

Once home, I thought of the bench, I want to go take a look, see if it's been used, sit on it and write and look out at the views.

Fish are moving, jumping, campers are busy with breakfast and getting ready to go. I hear the eagle 🦅 now calling, amongst it all I hear the rapids above, and the quiet that is Arrowvale. I hear a car go by, the road is just above here, I hear the ravens and the crows, everything is awake at 9:am.

I realize that I really can't write it all here, so much sounds and beautiful views, too much for words.

Yes, the bench is in the best spot for the view, and the best spot for use. I'm going to come and see how it's used later this afternoon, as today is Friday, and this is when all the weekenders will come. Not the long weekend yet, still be a busy weekend here.

The Kingfisher is splashing as it gets its breakfast now, sockeye always jump sideways, looks kinda funny. I hear the sounds of a power saw cutting in the distance, at the mill across the road. Mergansers are running on the water looking to get somewhere as a group.

Sun's way up now, off to get my starter replaced on my pickup, wanna get it all tickity boo before we leave.

Seems a shamed to leave now, but we have plans, and will go. I'm going to relish the last few days here, perfect weather, and beautiful views.

Love our Life ❤️
