My Radar is a weather app that helps us
Make decisions when to go, or stay, or avoid the system that's coming where we plan to go.
I have two apps My Radar, & Windy that help, also the Weather channel that's on my phone too. All have radar, and weather predictions for where we are headed as well as where we are. Yesterday I watched as a swirl was around Moosejaw and that's where we were headed, today's forecast shows the system has moved east and north, so all going well.
We leave late, as give all the workers time to get over their rush, and we can drive without too much hassle. City's have people that are all in a rush, some really mean, and pushing all the time. I mostly stay away from this, not how I want to operate.
Crossing the highway today from our campsite is something Polly doesn't like, as you cross two lanes to get between the 4 lanes & wait for traffic to get a space to get in the other lanes. It turned out Ok, but Polly's comment after we made it was "they should have a light there, you know even one the triggers when you pull up only, just something." "I agree" I said, even though I thought write a letter to the powers that be. I don't think it matters, the powers that be only seem to do anything till someone dies, or and especially if it's their family. My 2 bits.
Well, here I am now after our trip to gull lake campground, we decided wasn't for us, so here we are now at Ponderosa campground in Swift Current, Sask. at our new home for the night. Fm station we picked up just now CBC, with Newfoundland radio station 😂🤣 Polly got another close, and got good music 🎶.
Polly is busy right away with tonight's dinner, lamb chops, and thawing out tomorrow's dinner, spare ribs for Derek, as well as mixing up cookie 🍪 dough, tonight she's baking cookies for Derek too. Someone once said "Polly gives her love through her baking" I agree and her cooking❤️
The wind is blowing fairly good right now, but with our app Windy, I check and find out that it will calm this evening at about 9pm.
nice to know, rocking a bit now.
Tomorrow we head to Moosejaw for the weekend, then off towards Winnipeg for about 6 days all going good. Visiting John Polly's cousin and family.
Weather has been very good so far, but going to get cool soon, then warm up again. We can't complain, been a very nice fall so far.
On the way here we saw a sign saying point of interest, the market was on the other side of the highway, but I remembered and just looked it up on Google maps. WOW, I understand now why is a point of interest. Here is the info.
I surprised, as there is a memorial here in the town of Swift Current of the Humboldt accident, with the boys faces that passed due to the accident. That accident we all know of, so we'll publicized.
Information is so easily passed on now, not just TV, or radio as past. So much information available to us all now.
Well that's all I got today, a glass 🍷 of wine with my honey now, and bit of relaxing 😃 and dinner.
Love our life ❤️ really 🤗
