Amongst all the people here, early I find solitude here on the beach.

Coffee ☕ is brewing, and garbage is emptied, my walk takes me to the river mouth, where the small beach is, a favorite place.

Eagles crying, loons hooting, small sandpiper crys as it changes places on the beach. Sun will be up soon too, this place I can sit on this huge, dry, perfectly situated log and watch as today unfolds.

A boat comes, checking crab traps I'm thinking, crows fly by in a group, then the sun blinks up, so fast it happens, just like blink, "here I am, day starts in full now".
Then my phone locks up, and I notice the power is at 5%. I had it plugged in all night, but no connection I guess, so last few photos in a dark screen.

Well sun's up full now, the crisendo, I think that the description for the end, as when the sun's up, it's the end for me, of the beginning of the day.

Walking back I saw a lady doing same, taking photos of the sunrise.

Then as I get closer I see our neighbor that gave us a coho salmon the other day, she's wondering why the crows are on her roof of her trailer. Dog food left outside at another neighbor I say, as this has been happening all week. I thank her again for the fish, and wish her a good sleep, as the crows have left now.

Back home now, wanting to sit outside, yet needed the plug to charge. Oh well, I got to finish this writing now anyway, and attach a few of the photos I took earlier. Sure was a nice start to my day here at Qualicum Native campground in Qualicum Bay.

Been a really wonderful time here, and early morning gives me the quiet time to think.

Love this place, especially when the weather is just perfect, and people keep coming to visit. So fortunate we are.🤗

Love our life ❤️
