Sunday morning, Easter πŸ°πŸ‡

Easter🐰 egg πŸ₯š hunting at Arrowvale on Friday when over really good!

68 Easters I've seen now, hope to see many more, but as time goes we have less time left, just the way it is. When we meet others our age, once in a while I hear "Above ground" or "good ya woke up" all saying better above ground, and awake rather than the alternative. Often I also hear of many our age or older, not hear with us anymore, a reminder that the end of this ride is closer than we might think.

I'm happy we changed homes for one with wheels, looking back, we have seen and been places that before we had only seen on TV. Met many wonderful people, ate food that we might never had tried if not for travel. Tried a different beer in many locations, locals always have a favorite. Yes the last 10 years have been wonderful.

Right from the time we made the decision to sell and move into our home on wheels, and get rid of most of our "Stuff" and lighten our load, to today, this has been the best decision to make.

Now as we face a possible no travel south with our trailer, and felling like we might slow down a little we started looking about for a place to land a little more permanently. I've always been looking at prices of homes as they climbed, but realize now that what we earn on a pension will not support the reality of today's prices.

What next? Well a look at Mobile homes at the almost $300,000 range, in a MH Park, that's a shocker. So to the old folk's home, see what happens. Well stay in our trailer as long as we can, but it's good to make a decision before one is made for you, always my thought.

I don't think we are finished, but been a nice run, time to look at what's next now.

For today we'll enjoy Arrowvale, rooster πŸ“ and all, beautiful time of year here, oh and the wood pecker who seems to have slept in this morning πŸ˜ƒ, LoL just after I wrote this he came LoL. 6:54, yep he slept in.

He really is a beautiful bird, just noisy

I could take the ladder down, put it on the ground, but he'll only do this for a few weeks, then be over. So for now will enjoy the views of him and his bang bang banging LoL.

Today we go to a memorial for a friend that's passed on. I think there will be many people there, some I'm sure will be people we hadn't seen in years. It's how it is, more funerals than weddings now. Yep, life's changes keep coming, the trick is to keep moving, at least that's what I hear from others that atain the grand old age, 90 seems to be the time people really slow down, but I see one guy that's 98 now, still active, slower, but still at the hardware store, and our logger's Meeting's. Gives me hope!

My back's been sore last couple days, that always slows me a little, but I know from experience, take it easy a little, then once it's healed a bit, get on with doing what ya love.

I made one planter for Polly, she wants another for a rose she'll buy, a different rose 🌹 plant for every year is the usual now. Then when we leave she gives it away. Nice way leave a legacy each year.

In time we'll leave for good, what we leave behind will be memories in others minds, and a few 🌹 Rose's 🌹 a a few wooden creations. That's just how it is!

Enjoy your Easter Sunday as we will 🐰

Loving our life ❤️ here at Arrowvale
