Every once in awhile I get that complete moment of appreciation.

            I'm appreciating our home.

On my way back into town today I had that appreciation, starting with the view of a huge chestnut tree that tower's over Redford St. full of blossoms, then the purple lilacs on the corner, everything so green right now. Then I thought about how great it is to drive where I'm so familiar, so at home in this town, so comfortable that I don't have to think hard about what's coming next.

My next thoughts were about how I've learned to appreciate this? The travel we've been doing over the last 10 years has created this loving feeling of where I'm at home, where I'm completely comfortable in my thoughts, knowing that the next turn will be this, then next sight will be that, that the trees will flower at this time, and sun will be warm, and shorts and tee shirts be the standard mostly from now on till end of summer 🌞😎.

I'm really not sure how it happened, but the feeling I had was great.

Watching the Oilers Score their second goal as I peck here, just making it even better. Polly has been saying that watching Edmonton and Winnipeg at the final game of the Stanley cup be great, I agree. Funny how we have as a nation become more patriotic this last while, just taking the thought of Canada a little more serious than before.

In talking with a few guys today as Dan and I picked up a car he'd bought, as I talked with them I realized people are  wanting to see their teams win against USA team's. OMG, 3-1 Edmonton now, Polly now cheering extremely loudly 🔊

Dan said in our conversation on the way to Naniamo, "Elbows up!"

Are we saying offensive? Or defense?

Oops, Vegas scored now, the horn goes, like extremely long horn! LoL, everyone wants to win! Someone has to loose for someone to win. I'm really not too competitive, I like to win, but I can take a loss well too. When it comes to hockey, I want my team to win, but of course my team isn't in the playoffs, so I cheer on the next best, unless no more Canadian team's, then usually I stop watching. Hmm, patriotic? I guess I am.

I'm interested in the fact that Canadian tire has its symbol on the ice in Vegas, yet no writing saying Canadian Tire! Of course I wonder why? Just me, I'm always thinking, Why!

Anyway, I'll enjoy the spring here, and feel comfortable with family and friends, and sights sounds & smells that remind me where I am and how great it feels. ❤️

Love our life ❤️ even with out traveling.
