Terra Nova National Park, Newfoundland

Paving crew in the park was like no other in Newfoundland....

The National Park gets High priority when work has to be done!

Polly and I stopped here for a night on our way to Saint Johns, Newfoundland from Bonavista. Was a good place for an over night rest, and a look around this beauty park. There were some campers, but was early in the year, and the droves they get in summer hadn't started yet. We had a quiet evening, and in the morning before we left Bosco and I went for a hike along a trail that led us close to the creek that led to the ocean. Was a quiet walk, and didn't see much wildlife, just signs of Moose that winter here, and some trees bit down by the beavers. Birds were present, but not too many. Met nobody on the trail, but did have some beauty views as we walked along. Took about an hour to make the way around, and was a steep hill at the end to a view of the valley below, would have been a nice spot to look around in the evening if animals were present then.

All in all was a beauty place, just not many animals when we were there, just sign they are present.

Campsites were big, and bathrooms were clean and showers were warm. No sewer hook up, but a dump as you left. We packed up and were off to Saint John's by 10am.

Here are a few pics of the trail.

Moose was here

Spring just started here

Bosco say I knew there a Beaver here somewhere.
